Companies should communicate better with the local communities in which they operate. In fiscal 2007, we started “Misawa Festa” activities at our offices and factories to enhance our communications with people in local communities. One such activity took place in our Okayama Factory in the fall in 2007 and attracted 2,350 people from the community. Visitors to the factory, from young children to seniors, took a look at our environmental activities and exchanged opinions and thoughts on environmental topics with our staff while enjoying fun activities.
