MISAWA

Our Four Core Commitments

Misawa Homes is committed to designing and building homes that are ecological, retain their value over the long term, provide safe and healthy living environments, and incorporate a touch of Japanese cultural tradition.

  • We design and build homes that make greater use of renewable energy and have a naturally ventilated design to make them ecological and self-sustaining. We implement an environmental action plan with clear objectives and targets to reduce CO2 emissions and other environmental loads throughout the entire value chain of our homebuilding business.

  • We design and build homes that are both durable and comfortable to live in for generations. The homes we build are designed to last for 200 years, which makes it easy to reuse and repurpose them.

  • We design and build homes that are resistant to natural and man-made disasters to keep residents safe and comfortable for years. We incorporate a vibration-damping device into every home we build. We offer a living environment in which children can grow safely and all family members live happily.

  • We design and build homes that preserve a touch of Japanese cultural tradition. We develop an ecological microclimate design based on design features found in traditional Japanese houses.
